Riot to nerf Xayah, Vi in new League of Legends micropatch

Riot Games is implementing a “micropatch” to League of Legends later today. The developers intend to make changes to two champions with the minor update: Xayah and Vi.

Both Xayah and Vi will be receiving relatively heavy nerfs in the micropatch since the two champions have gotten a bit too strong for Riot’s taste over the course of the last few weeks.

Xayah players can expect direct nerfs to Double Daggers (Q) with the base damage of the ability being nerfed at all ranks. Additionally, Double Daggers’ raw cooldown is being increased at ranks two through five.

“Xayah’s lethality build has caught on over the last few weeks and is quite overpowered,” Riot said on the changes to the champion. The most recent prominent strategy surrounding Xayah involves maxing Q and rushing Eclipse as a Mythic item, so these changes should nip that approach in the bud.

As for Vi, the champion will be receiving nerfs in the way of her base stats, in addition to her ultimate ability, Assault and Battery. In the upcoming micropatch, Vi’s Armor per level is being reduced from four to 3.5, while her attack damage per level is dropping from 3.5 to three. Assault and Battery’s stun duration is getting 토토사이트  slightly clipped, with the length of the overall stun set to go down from 1.4 to 1.3 seconds.

“Vi’s recent rescript added a lot of consistency to her spells which pushed her over the edge of balanced,” Riot said in regard to Vi.

Things finally came to a head for Xayah and Vi in Patch 11.22, which was released on the live servers yesterday. The patch will be the last major update before the 2021 ranked season ends. The next major League patch, Patch 11.23, is scheduled to be released on Nov. 17, according to the game’s official patch schedule.
